Writer cin salach’s name is synonymous with the performance/slam poetry scene in Chicago and around the country. She is the author of the poetry collection Looking for a Soft Place to Land ( Tia Chucha Press, Chicago, 1996 ) , and until just a few years ago, she was married to a man.
